Description

Performs hands-on operation of chemical process and equipment. Performs related activities such as securing supplies, performing chemical and physical property tests, making necessary adjustment and minor repair to obtain quality production, keeping work area and equipment clean, maintaining and updating log reports and other files, and checking operation and packaging work to assure that specifications are met. Familiar with R.O. water, spray dryers, filters, baghouses, tanks and the controls to monitor

Responsibilities

  • Running, monitoring, adjusting continuous system
  • Set levels and Ratio Controls
  • Pump in from Storage
  • Start up and shutdown of filters
  • Troubleshoot and adjust for upset conditions
  • Spray Dryer and Presses start-up/monitoring/testing/shutdown
  • RO operation
  • Recording data
  • GMP/SQF House keeping
  • Follow All DGA policies, Safety, and uphold the Core Values 

Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years experience as a Chemical Process Operator
  • Able to operate without direct supervision
  • 12-hour rotating shifts, rotates days and nights every 9 weeks

Education

High School Diploma or GED
