To manage existing customers by providing or organizing the required service, technical support, training, and relationship management expected by each assigned customer.
To execute sales and marketing plans as required by the Director of Industrial Sales.
To provide market intelligence to the appropriate staff, including customer, competitive, and sales volume data
Customer Relationship & Support
Develop and implement customer-specific programs to improve product utilization (compliance) and customer value
Maintain relationships at the local customer facility to insure program satisfaction, create competitive barriers, and tie in to local customer programs
Attend customer trade shows, conventions, and charitable events as required
Implement local sales and marketing programs. Coordinate all local programs with Technical Services Department and sales personnel responsible for the facility headquarters
Develop annual business plans and prior year customer value for each assigned customer. Coordinate with Technical Services and responsible headquarters sales personnel
Provide quarterly status reports vs. the annual business plan
Provide continual re-enforcement of company value proposition to defend against competitive encroachment
Identify, develop and close opportunities to expand our business with current customers
Identify unserved prospective customers and communicate those to the business development managers. Assist the Business Development Managers in the demonstration of product value, sales effort to close the sale, and ultimate roll out.
Understand the DGA business system and be able to intercede on the customer’s behalf when a problem or special requirement arises
Assess the training and support needs at local facility level to properly generate the expected product performance and provide the training required

Understand the DGA product chemistry and treatment processes in order to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting
Understand when it is appropriate to seek assistance from the Technical Services Dept.
Prepare and execute an account sales plan in support of the Director of Industrial Sales
Establish business reviews with key accounts on a quarterly and/or annual schedule as determined by the business and the customer
Provide market, customer, and competitive intelligence
Support the S & OP process by providing customer program and sales estimates for assigned customers
Provide timely (monthly) account status reports
Develop monthly account management plans to cost effectively cover and support the assigned customers
Utilize all management software including CRM and expense management in a timely and accurate manner
4 year degree in a related field
Plant operations and basic chemistry knowledge
Basic chemistry knowledge
Ability to travel extensively throughout territory
Excellent communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
