Coordinate and support the implementation of Dallas Group of America (“DGA”) global sales and marketing strategies and related communications for all business units as defined by the requirements set out by each Business Unit (BU) Executive and appropriate product management.  In addition, this position will provide tactical support to the global business units through various means such as market research, trade shows and the effective deployment of a social media strategy.  Also, this position will have the direct responsibility to ensure that all internal and external communications reflect a coordinated DGA brand image and value proposition.


  • Assist the Business Unit Executives and product management in developing individualized sales and marketing tactics conforming to their overall go-to-market strategy as it relates to:
    • specific market and product requirements and values
    • global distinctions on a local (regional) level
    • Provide assistance in measuring program effectiveness
  • Support the implementation of the DGA brand strategy as determined by Executive leadership, ensuring a unified and consistent branding methodology.
  • Support Product Management and BU Directors in the global DGA public relations efforts
  • Assess the current use of social media platforms and propose an enhanced strategy
  • Assist in the development of and responsibility for implementation of all sales and marketing support programs –tactics:
    • Campaigns – Sales
    • Trade shows
    • Publications – articles
    • Literature – sales / products, business cards, stationary, etc. w/global standards
    • Media relations – press releases
    • Digital marketing – web, email mailings, social media, internal communications platform
    • Demonstration material – i.e.; sustainability tool, sales call “tool kit”
    • Logo wear, promotional items
    • Assist in the development of training materials, internal and external constituents
  • Conduct and report on the results of customer market research; i.e. customer survey
  • Effectively supervise, mentor and train immediate subordinate
  • As the point person for all communications to third-party service providers, participate in the decision to outsource various work projects
  • Maintain digital and print surveillance
  • Oversee the global marketing communication budget
  • Ensure the availability of all global sales and marketing communication materials
  • Assist in special projects as required by management


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications with demonstrated success.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
    • Graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in execution of go-to-market strategies and tactics, marketing communications and public relations activities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of creating and deploying effective “brand awareness campaigns” through social media platforms.
  • Strong creative, design, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong skills in using all relevant software.
  • Demonstrated successful experience overseeing the design and production of print materials, digital communications and websites.
  • Experience in conducting and assessing “consumer” research.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets.
  • Experience in working within a shared leadership structure.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
