The Process Manager will manage the wet chemical process operations to meet all GMP, safety, food safety, quality, and productivity objectives with 24/7 responsibility.


  • Achieve productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety & Key Performance Indicators objectives.
  • Identify and coordinate improvements in the wet operations area necessary to meet the various commitments for the plant and cost objectives.
  • Evaluate the operator team’s capabilities, skills, and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives
  • Drive performance management to ensure a high level of performance through accountability, training, coaching and employee/team development.
  • Manage raw material supply to achieve powder production requirements.
  • Provide monthly consumption reports on strategic supply chains
  • Work with maintenance to ensure repairs are documented and equipment uptime is maintained.
  • Drive the implementation of TPM for the wet process.
  • Develop and maintain schedule for repair and rebuild of spray dryers.
  • Develop and maintain spare parts to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist in solving operational issues.
  • Administer policies and procedures
  • On call as needed for decision-making for a 24/7 operation


  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and maintain positive relationships with all levels of management
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required
  • Chemical or Food Plant experience preferred
  • GMP/SQF experience or certification a plus


Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as Chemical Engineering and five to seven years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
